Christine’s Painting Place opened its doors in Gibsonia on November 1, 2006…and we’ve been having a blast ever since.

Christine Rodgers, the owner of Christine’s Painting Place is a nationally recognized designer, artist and teacher that has been published in national ceramic magazines for her painting techniques and designs.

Before opening her shop in Gibsonia she spent 14 years as a teacher for  glaze manufacturers,  Gare and Mayco, traveling  New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania and Virginia, teaching advanced ceramic painting and clay hand-building and sculpting techniques.

Now, at the Painting Place, Christine has taken her experience and developed special monthly workshops, summer camps and after school programs – just for the kids – even though adults have been known to enjoy them too!

We encourage everyone to use their imagination to create original masterpieces that will be treasured for years…and if that doesn’t work…we give you patterns and let you use stamps and sponges! 

To paraphrase one of the kids, “There’s a lot of fun in that place!”  Please, come have fun with us!
